• Was This Supposed To Be A Romance Novel?
  The author writes reasonably well. Thus, the pages do move. The basic plot was interesting. A hedge fund manager fleeced European mobsters for mega bucks. His mentor, a supposed family friend, was secretly working against him. The backers discovered the cash shortage and started to tighten the screws. Conveniently, a bomb went off as the fund manager rode the metro north train into Grand Central Station in New York. Many were killed. What better excuse for the manager to decide to disappear. Which he did,... more info

• great read
  great read. A lot of suspense that kept me reading long after I should have stopped for the day!

• good story, bad editing.
  I have to agree with another reviewer about his overuse of the first names of the main characters. No one in speaks like that in real life. It was extremely irritating and detracted from the story line. His overuse of cliches was also annoying. Some one was always " winking" at another person! It seems as if he needed fill his book with triteness to make it longer. It had good potential but I was very disappointed in the book. He needs to find a new proofreader.
