If a person doesn't understand fluids & electrolytes after reading this book, then give up!

excellent supplement to med-surg textbooks 
This book has lots of diagrams, pictures, and helpful explanations. There are also some NCLEX-type questions. If you're a visual leaner, and if you need something that will clarify complex concepts, then I highly recommend this book.

I Agree With Others
That the cover is childish, but the information is very helpful. I have used other books by this series, and they are very helpful because they get to the point of what you need without all of the junk. I have the Phamacology book by this company and it was a godsend. When I saw this on line, this was what the doctor ordered. I plan to get this one as well, and suggest that desperate nursing students do the same.

Great book
This book is straight to the point in what to look for in your patient (ie.dehydration) it includes information on lab values also. I wish I had had it at the beginning of my studies. The cover is a little (kiddy) but the information is not.
