  I found that "Plain & Simple" Windows Vista was very easy to read, understand and informative.

  Great book to help you understand Windows Vista. Easy to understand and with colorful pictures.

• Book does not make your life easier
  VISTA should not have been developed, in my opinion. This book is PLAIN, AND it does not make the ill-fated operating system EASY to use. Years ago the US automobile manufacturers told drivers what's good for them'. Look what happened!

• Easy to understand
  I purchased Step by Step. This had a disc at the back of the book which was to be used for practice lessons. This does not work. I downloaded the system many times, without success. I found an item on the net which explained that there was a problem with the system and it gave instructions to cure this - but this does not work either. I wrote to Windows and they did not reply.
  I purchased Plain and Simple - and that is what it is, easy to understand and use. I recommend it.
