• This is the right guide if you want to find out how dumb you are!
  This book provides plenty of practice in all subtests of the general knowledge test; however; its content and application goes way beyond the scope of the test. if you need extra practice I highly recommend the Xam Online GK test as it is a lot easier and the explanations in it are very thorough. Your primary study guide for the GK should really be the Cliff Test Preparation Guide because it is the closest to the original test.
  Again, the REA is horrible and it will make you feel like you can't do it... more info

• A Good Review Book
  I found this book helpful in providing a review of the types of questions similar to those found on the actual FTCE General Knowledge Exam. The book covers question types and detailed answers for all four areas of the exam; Reading, Math, English Language Skills and the Essay. There are 3 full-length practice exams at the end with detailed answers.

• Awful!
  I would never recommend this as your primary study aid, maybe as back-up to help with the harder math questions. But if you use this as your primary aid, if will intimidate and only make your feel like a loser.
  BUY THE CLIFF NOTE VERSION!!!! The CN version explains everything step by step whereas I felt this version was way too unorganized and scrambled.
  Wish me luck because I take the test Thursday!

• I passed using this text!
  I would recommend this. After looking through this text and taking the practice tests, the real test was a breeze. (And you do not want to have to take that test twice.. it is long!)
