• Changed my mind about Ritalin
  I was ready to try Ritalin with my daughter, if her ADHD started to interfere with her learning in school. I am so glad that a psychologist friend recommended this book to me. After reading this book, I am convinced that Ritalin is not the best choice. I have never understood the meaning of "homeopathic medicine", but now I do, and I will definitely take this route instead!

  This is one of those books that stuck with me years after reading it and I felt compelled to write a review.
  Chapter 2- Life in Overdrive is a great blue print of common ADHD behavior from a toddler to adulthood. Additionally, Chp 12 & 13 offers coaching techniques which focuses on the individual. p 102 "those are only your behaviors, not the real you."

  As the mother of several boys with ADHD, I can tell you that this book changed our family dynamics forever! I had been searching for help for so many yars and not wanting to use drugs.
