Useful, but not durable
I work with a child who has autism and we use the book often in our study time together. The rhyming words are helpful to help him remember the different times and activities. However, the hands on the clock are not very durable. At some point, I will have to replace the hands. He is not a destructive child, but he does pull at the hands from time to time.

Big Hand, Little Hand: Learn to Tell Time!
I have bought this book over and over again for friends and family. Children need to be at certain developmental stage to understand how to tell time, but that does not mean you can not start early. Even if the concept is too difficult for them, all kids love playing with the big hand and little hand. Like riding a bike one day they can tell the time. The lights go on! It happens in stages, hours first then half hours and then all the complicated inbetween times. Suggest teaching miday and bedtime first... more info

Fun learning aid
I have used this book to teach how to read a clock to two of my children. They liked being able to reposition the clock hands and the rhyming story.
