A very beneficial reading system 
By and large, the difficulty people have with Photoreading relates to the requirement to activate the text to which they have been exposed. Activation can be likened to a dialog with the book, based on openness and curiosity. It is very different from the passive form of reading to which people are generally accustomed. Complete scam 
I was young and naive when I bought this book many years ago after getting their marketing material in the mail. The CD and book cost several hundred dollars and I figured I'd toss a few bucks on the book first. I can't believe I even wasted time with this book. This guy ranks right there with Kevin Trudeau and Howard Berg in scamming people into sending him a few bucks.

Occult? 
This book basically suggests using Subliminal messaging for a way to read. In this book Paul Scheele suggests some of the books to subject your mind to by subliminal messages are occultic, such as 'Silva's Mind Control'. Silva's Mind Control teaches Transcendental Meditation, Paul says you do not need to read the book, but subject your self to it subliminally. Not worth your time 
This book advertises itself like a late night infomercial. Who wouldn't want to read at a rate of a page per second? But, like any kind of offer too good to be true, you must read the fine print. You get the reading done "at a level of comprehension you need." In other words, this book is really a glorified instruction manual on how to skim and scan a book.
