• Not quite what I expected
  I have "Zen & The Art of Happiness" so I figured I would love this book just as much. I didn't know it was all about how to tell your fortune with yarrow sticks (which I didn't buy with the book) and not an uplifting read that doesn't require me to buy anything extra.

• Yarrow sticks and probability. . .
  Wu Wei appeals to me so much because he is an artist and values learning that comes through the hands. This book includes one of the few explanations I've found for why the yarrow stick method produces a mathematically different "chance" result from the coin toss method. I was inspired enough to go out and harvest my own wild yarrow and cut it into sticks. This ancient Chinese plant actually grows in Maine!   This is a really easy to understand and easy to use version of the great Chinese classic. In this astute and practical interpretation, the ancient wisdom of the I Ching has come to life for me. If you're facing a tricky situation and you're not sure what to do, or you just need guidance or confirmation of your inner promptings, I definitely suggest using this practical and profound book to get the guidance you need.   WuWei has honored the sacred knowledge of the I Ching and has even managed to improve upon it... to help us all understand its wisdom. It is a masterful feat and I am grateful!
