  These series by Yogani are the best introduction to understanding the science of yoga that I have come across. Simple Clear and Concise. It's the perfect foundation, thorough and complete.For anyone who is truely interested in this journey of yoga these are a must.I'd give it infinte stars. Thank you Yogani.

• Promises much, delivers little
  I was excited to check this book out. I was slightly disappointed at the end. It is pretty much an entire book on why you should get a teacher to train you in yoga. Did have some interesting info that can be gotten elsewhere.

• Really explains THE POINT of asanas and how to do them
  This is another of Yogani's fine books in the Advanced Yogic Practices Enlightenment Series. This one deals with asanas (postures), bandhas (blocks), and mudras (seals). As usual with Yogani, we are presented with not only very practical and easy to follow information, but also the essential guidance and wisdom that solidifies the practices for the layman.
  This is not a comprehensive encyclopedic guide to asanas. It is more a book about WHY asanas are important to yoga and how they fit into the whole... more info
