• For the modern mystic
  If you are already a fan of Carolyn Myss, then you will enjoy this series as well. Some reviewers have found her tone a bit harsher than in previous works, and I would have to agree, but I still found the subject of moving through your own interior "mansions" to be quite fascinating. The idea is that of doing meditations--to review all of your faults, problematic relationships, personal demons, expectations of others and God--and through this examination clearing yourself to be one with God; to be filled... more info

• Informative but takes time to travel and integrate.
  While I can't agree with other reviewers about Carolyn contantly berating her readers, I must stay that this is a different volume from pervious works. It is more of a step by step practice guide that must be read and practiced over time to integrate concepts/experiences along the way. Otherwise it can seem overwhelming and you might be tempted to put the book aside and forget about it.
  I will read this book again at a future date, but have found her other books to be more helpful to me personally.... more info

• Refreshingly Iconoclastic
  Based on the writing of Teresa of Avilla and aside from a bit interesting history about Teresa and the time she lived, the message is pretty simple: Go Within. Here's the pathway to your soul. No bells, candles, angels. You, God, get going.
  Mysss wastes no time in letting the audience know that this isn't for the faint hearted. If you're looking for a way to visualize a new job, love or body in a Insert-Prayer-Get-Miracle way. This isn`t it. It`s about standing right where you are and surrendering.more info

• Very disappointing
  I am a huge fan of Caroline Myss. I really don't understand how this piece fits into the rest of her work. It is not nearly as fascinating as the other pieces I have read. I was very disappointed in this. Even if you are a big fan of hers and enjoy reading or listening to everything she creates -skip this.
