  This was a great book. Funny, great recipes, entertaining. .Such right on stories about all us Italians. I couldnt put it down. My 86 year old motherinlaw- VERY ITALIAN- Loved it also. She read it in one afternoon.

  This book was so enjoyable and even more meaningful if you're from a large family. The stories were wonderful and I intend to try many of the recipes.

  I enjoyed this cookbook very much. I am Italian and it brought back a lot of memories from my childhood with my grandparents.

  I usually adjust recipes, but no need to with this book. They taste
  authentic italian, they're easy to make, and pretty upon presentation.
  The roasted vegetable pasta dish I made last night was heavenly, six bucks to make, and it was an easy clean up too! I like the stories, even though I have a small family, they motivate me to have everyone sit at the table like a big italian family! This book is worth twice the price.
