• Great sci-fi or the worst
  After reading the first 100 or so pages I though, why am I reading this but I continued and then got so immersed in the story that I didn't want to stop. No matter what anyone says about Greg Iles, he is one of the most gifted storytellers writing today. This novel was well researched and Iles made it almost believable at times.

• Solid book, quite entertaining if a little silly.
  Some of the characters in this book are lifted straight off the pages of a cheap comic book (the super-cold/super-efficient woman with the Germanic ancestry? Please), and if you stop too long to think about the story, it gets kind of silly. But that's fine, because this is a rollicking story, complete with several chase scenes, lots of fun spy stuff, and just enough of a story to hang it all on. • Didn't finish.
  The book was getting too out of hand...I got bored, one of the few books that I have ever stopped reading when I am almost finished.

• Used Books
  I live in a remote area of Northern California and have a hard time getting books that I want - I love reading Greg Isles novels. I received a gift certificate for Amazon and got online, looked for the book I wanted, it was available in the used books section, filled out my order and had it in my hands in a couple of weeks and it was in great condition.
