can't believe anyone gave it more than one star
I LOVED the first 8 or so Elm Creek Quilt series books - 5 stars. The remaining ones are obviously published on a schedule - avg 3 stars. A little light on content or repetitive. This last book was barely 2 chapters worth of content. It didn't really tell us anything about the character or how she would/would not be included in the group. It didn't have any type of conclusion. Awful. Not even worth the gas to go to the library.

Not worth your time
I have read all of the Elm Creek books and have thoroughly enjoyed them. This book was a big disappointment. I hope Jennifer waits to publish her next book until she actually has something worthy of publication.

I fear that this publication was little more than an excuse to get some long time tried and true readers and fans of the series to purchase a cookbook and little else without the "book" being publicized as such. With little more than a thread of a story to hold a series of recipes together, this was a waste of my time. I'm hoping that Chiaverini will get back on track, pick up the lost threads of her storytelling, and get on with the business of writing fiction - this is what the true... more info
