  McCallum makes a wonderful presentation of the grace of God for all of us in Christ Jesus. The apostle Paul had his hands full just explaining how Christ fulfilled the law so that the works of sacrifices, holy days, and other procedural aspects of the law were no longer necessary in Christ.

• Secondary companion to one of the Bible's favorite teachings
  I really like this author's body of work. I've read all his non-fiction. He's very objective and can sound a little bit like notes from a lecture. But it is also emotionally productive, without the bells and whistles, unlike many Christian authors, and has genuine feeling and vulerability to appeal to anyone's subjective sensibilities.
