    I admit that I was skeptical when I bought this book. Oh, no, not another stupid diet craze. But I was pleasantly surprised. The nutrition advice is solidly based on science and a common sense approach: eat more unprocessed foods, be careful of trans fat, protein is your friend, etc. This is more of a guide to basic nutrition than a "diet book."     I bought this week recently and in 1 week I have lost 8 pounds. I have tried many diets and bought many diet books. But this one beats the others because it shows you how to eat for LIFE. You eat so much that you do not realise that the recommended food is keeping you full and making those muscles burn fat.

    I was trying for about 8 months to lose the remaining 30lbs of post-baby weight I had (of an original total of 60lbs!). I had definately plateaued and actually was beginning to gain weight back!
