Very clinical 
This IS a wonderful book; however I found it to be too clinical. It seems perfect for the doctor who wants to keep abreast of current treatments for MS. I'm looking for a book that talks more about the symptoms...how to cope....how to deal with fatigue and MS in general. I'm just newly diagnosed and wanted a "down home" approach to finding information. I came back to buy MS for Dummies...sounds silly, but I've found those books to be informative in an almost TOO simple fashion...but it's what I need right... more info

This is a book every MS patent should read. Especially those in early stages. This book is a very thorough and responsible review of MS

Excellent resource 
When I was diagnosed my doctor threw 4 prescriptions at me for various steriods and other drugs and sent me on my way - wouldn't answer my questions (too busy) So off I went, got the perscriptions filled, had a nurse insert an IV and got busy. Luckily I had ordered this book in anticipation of the diagosis and it arrived as I started treatment. The first chapter is on Treatment for acute eexacerbations and it explained everything!
