Battery Problem
This product is a joke, the unit I have drains a new battery in a few hours, and it starts beeping during the night, asking for a new battery. The beep is so loud ... Removed the battery? sorry, no battery is not an option, it will beep if there is no battery. What can you do? Please don't waste your money or energy on a product like this.

Ordered this to replace my old one... and they a very important

Carbon Monoxide Plug In Alarm Kidde KN-COPP-3
A good quality product, it was purchased as a replacement for a old Kidde plug in which had stopped working after a few years. The main advantage of this newer model unit is the battery backup feature which my older unit did not have. Digital readout and flawless performance make this my choice for a reliable plug in carbon monoxide alarm unit.

Once the alarm sounds you have to power it off to silence it. Since it's sort of difficult to tell if a particular CO detector is working properly, we've... more info
