• just right
  I'm just a regular guy interested in a purifier. I've owned a bulky old HEPA that I trashed years ago. There's a lot of silly hype over purifiers. This one seems just right. It's relatively cheap, the filter lasts a "lifetime". The handle on top is very convenient. It's small.
  I sleep in a room with my little 1 y/o. The whir of the filter is perfect for a little white noise, but definietly not too loud--my wife hates white noise, she's fine with the honeywell.

• Quiet - Easy Maintenance - Great at What it Does
  I've owned this air purifier over 2 years now. I keep it on my nightstand next to my bed and never have a problem with noise (although I keep it on low). The pre-filters don't need to be changed too often - I run mine only at night and they last around 2-3 months. The HEPA filter lasts even longer. You can vacuum it but if you're allergic and asthmatic around dust like I am, you don't want to get that close to the dust anyway so it's a good idea to have a spare one. • Ugly, heavy, and expensive.
  I have done extensive research on indoor air purifier and the thing is, you do not want the one that is 1) heavy and ugly 2) Nosy 3) expensive to run it 4) expensive to maintain 5) Does not function as well for the money. I came up with THE BEST air purifier there is on the market AIR SOURCE 3000 by Shaklee. One SMALL unit covers up to 3000 Sq feet, no filter to chance, they look like an art, quite and energy saving, kills bacteria and virus, and DOES the job it is supposed to.
