John Cleese Shines
Like all the Monty Python alumni, John Cleese is talented and funny. From Monty Python (of course) to A Fish Called Wanda, Cleese always just makes me laugh.
And it is not different in Fawlty Towers, where he is at his acerbic and crazy best as the owner of a hotel where circumstances always leads to laughs, and Cleese is surrounded with other actos who do a great job.

Never Gets Old
Fawlty Towers is one of those British sitcoms that although they haven't a high number of episodes, the quality alone is something to make it a timeless classic. I think the high number of people who wil gladly vouch for how good this sitcom is only expresses the true quality of the comedy and the cast involved. The characters are well defined and the setting is utilised to its full potential. After borrowing the set of discs several times we finally broke down and purchased a set of our own. Several of the episodes are laugh out loud funny.

Timesless Classic British Comedy
Fawlty Towers is definitely in the top 5 British comedies ever made. It's based loosely on a real hotel manager in a hotel that John Cleese and the rest of the Monty Python team stayed at in the very real town of Torquay in South East England. It's extremely funny and you'll never tire of it. Classic scenes such as "The Germans", "Waldorf salad" and "Mr Fawlty, I know nothing" will have you howling out loud even if it is over 30 years old. With all 12 episodes, this DVD is worth every cent.
