  Smithsonian is a fantastic magazine and ususlly costs at least $35 a year, so this is a wonderful value. Go for it!

• Still as good as ever!
  I let my subscription lapse several years ago (because of the price)and really missed this great magazine. Amazon offers the best price I've ever seen, so I HAD to re-subscribe. I was a little hesitant because of some bad reviews where people complained about the lengthy wait for the subscription to begin, but went ahead anyway. • Excellent Writing!
  It is not often a general publication that treats a variety of subjects that one can be interested in reading them all.
  I found this magazine to have excellent writing together with very interesting subject matter. A recent issue had a story on Great White Sharks and their intelligent behavior, a brief history of the Mormon Church, and a story on the private museums in Europe.
  The stories are very interesting and extremely well written.
  I highly recommend this magazine.
