  This surge protector has room for everything I want to plug in. It has one light that confirms it's grounded and another light that says protected. I chose this brand because the computer guy at work told me that this company is very good about replacing surge protectors that don't work. I feel good about this purchase.

• Great Buy!
  The salesman sold me the Monster Protector, $$$, for my LCD TV. I checked on Amazon, bought the Tripp Lite. I am very pleased and returned the over-priced Monster :) Although it is unlikely that any surge protector will prevent a direct hit, this looks like a quality surge protector, with guarantees if your equipment is damaged.

• Two is better than one
  A powerful receiver, sub, big screen TV and all the periferial components often require more Amps than a standard 15 or 20 Amp circuit can provide. It is better to use two circuits. A single,expensive,surge protector/suppressor can not do this. The long cord and price of this (more than competent)unit makes "bi-circuiting" easy and affordable.   After our second major lightning strike in less than a year, I decided to buy top notch surge protectors for all my electronics. I chose the Tripp Lite because of its on/off switch, although I found out after they finally arrived that the Belkins do have a power switch on the end.
