  Too bad Hoover's engineers did not think the overall sweeper product through well in the first place. This "extension" is obviously an afterthought, and it came too late, so it could not be fitted properly onto the sweeper the way the sweeper was already designed. This hose REPLACES the existing hose -- it does not just add on to it, so you lose the 2' or so of the original hose that could have been used. • A much needed accessory
  I purchased a Hoover WindTunnel vac, and the original equipment hose was a cheap plastic feeling 10 foot(Yea right)hose that was worthless unless you moved the vac you just pulled it on it's back. This hose is a better quality than the stock hose and while 20ft is being optimistic for length it frees you from dragging the vac around constantly.   The Hoover Windtunnel is the best vacumn cleaner I have had in 50 years on the planet and this hose is essential since the vacumn is a little heavy to maneuver around. If you buy the vacumn buy the hose
