• Monster XPCI Big 100 Foot Speaker Cable
  I am often skeptical of claims about having to spend lots of money on cabling in general. However, I have found through experience that speaker wire quality can matter. I have tried a number of different grades and types of wire in my house (in wall and out of wall) and found that I always had a fair amount of "line noise" that ultimately made the sound quality of my AV system poor. • Overpriced, hard to pull
  I was in a bit of a hurry to get some cable locally and picked up a spool of this despite it's expense. It's not even oxygen free. Anyway, the clear casing may be kinda cool to look at, but it's difficult to work with, both in cutting, and when pulling. As far as audio quality, I can't tell any difference between this and the "lamp cord" I had been using before. Next time I'll go with some solid core stuff.
