  I bought this toaster last year. I really haven't been happy. It takes too long to heat. My son jacks up the setting, then pops the toast early to get the toast to toast. I love kitchenaid, but not this one.

• Great toaster after 5 years!!!
  I was reading some of the negative reviews about this toaster and was quitesurprised. I have had this toaster for 5 years now and have been very happy with it. Yes you have to adjust it for different types of breads but that's normal for any toaster. It doesn't have a brain. I think this is one of the better toasters. We recently received the pricey Breville toaster with a lot of fancy features but still doesn't toast as well as our Kitchenaid. • Nice job
  I was looking for a black toaster that would handle longer slices of artisan breads and bagels this does the job nicely. Still working on the correct setting for the digital dial. Takes up extra counter space but I am happy with the product.

• 4-Slice Digital Toaster
  Best toaster we have ever had! This product performs flawlessly year after year from toast to bagels to the kid's pop-ups. The only problem that ever happened was the handle on the slide mechanism came off. I put it back on with silicon and it has stayed.
