  I had been searching for 9 months for the perfect piece of functional furniture to add to our breakfast nook that could hold my wheat grinder, toaster, cook books, etc. I was looking for something not too deep (about 12") and very sturdy as wheat grinders are quite heavy. • Great item for the money!!
  It was interesting to read about how so many of you changed the shelfing around in the reviews below. Well, I wanted the wine rack because I keep organic wine on hand plus several types of oil and several flavored wine vinegars some of which are too tall for kitchen cabinets. After much looking around on-line, I decided this was the best buy so I ordered it.

• Great Bakers Rack
  My wife and I bought this shortly after moving in (2 days...) to our new apartment. We get compliments on it all the time, and the amount of stuff it stores makes it worth it's weight in gold. As with many others, I've found the wine rack at the bottem really doesn't help, and until I have the time to switch that with the top shelf holding the board (nice tip, thank you!), I just have my extra cutting boards down there to make sure nothing smaller falls through.   The reviews prior to puchasing this item were overwhelmingly positive and for it's price. The comments were right on. This is a great item and a great price. Someone else mentioned using the wine rack as the shelf to put the cutting top on. Did that, but, unless I put it together wrong, it wasn't perfect. If they'd just designed the wine shelf to work with the wooden top, the rack would have been perfect.
