  This is a great weather alert radio. I bought it this spring when we were having constant severe weather here in Nebraska and our old weather radio had seen better days. More than once it alerted me to severe weather when I had no idea anything was nearby. I particularly like the power/battery option. I leave it plugged in but know it'll still work if the power goes out (which it did a few times this spring.) It's also easy to program to your own county's alerts. • Would like a little more.
  Great unit, but it has a couple features that I would expect.
  The key beep is annoying and I would like the ability to turn it off. When a weather alert occurs it does not display which county code it applies to.

• Happinesss is fewer alerts:-)
  Easy set up, Not as many alerts when you narrow down the area. Quite happy with the unit.

  This is a great weather radio and very easy to program once you read the directions. I've had several storms in my area and it works flawlessly. I really liked the idea of scanning only counties that I want and also warning and watches can be customized for whatever pertains to your area. The price was great and I'd order the exact same one again if something happened to it.
