• Ok, but thin
  I have only used this cake tester once so far, and I overcooked my cake, but it wasn't actually the testers fault because I didn't test it until it was already overcooked. My concern with the product is that the metal tester is very thin, kind of like a thick needle, and I don't know if it's thick enough to grab the cake batter and pull it out to let you know the cake is undercooked...I guess it could be designed so thin for people that don't want a visible hole poked in the top of their cake. • who would have thought
  I was always looking for a toothpick long enough for my cakes. I could buy martini toothpicks but then I would have to store them and they are a one use item (not green at all). I keep this with the baking supplies and it is always there. For the price, I am glad I did it.

• Good product
  I haven't used this product yet, however it looks well made and seems like it would be a great gift for someone who enjoys baking. -- quick delivery and as expected!

• must have and great filler!
  not only is this item a great filler item for your cart, it is a must have for your kitchen. no more digging around in the utensils drawer for anything sharp to test your cookies, just look for this. i always throw it into my cart as a filler and give them away as gifts. i've had it for months and the thing has yet to rust or even bend out of shape. highly recommended.
