  These wide jaws are added to the Emerson line of clamping straight edges. They make the part that Emerson clamp clamps wider.
  I bought these not sure if they were worth the money. I can now tell you, they are worth the money and I am going to buy another set. I use the straight edges with my circular saw, router and even jig saw on occasion. I have a biscuit jointer and when routing out the biscuit I use the Emerson clamp on the top of my work bench put the wood against the side of the straight edge.... more info

• WIDE JAWS REVIEW
  This product is a must if you are going to be using it for your router or circular saw. It provides the stability needed when pressure is applied to the fence when pushing or pulling on it.
  

• What the heck
  I do not own this either, but thought I would balance the other reviews of guys who do not own this. I have the straight edge and it is nice. This is just the wide jaw clamps. I do not know how they could make it clearer.
