  The brackets that originally came with the drapery rod purchased at J.C. Penney's bent over the three years since they were installed. These Umbra brackets were stronger and longer and should last the life of the drapery rod.

• Aged Brass Color is not True
  Just received these brackets and they're just fine except for the aged brass color is not true to what is on the screen. It is considerably darker, so if you're looking for something more golden, best look further.

• Great replacement brackets
  We bought these brackets to make room for a new plantation blind. They worked absolutely perfectly. The original curtain rod and brackets were the Mainstay brand from Wal-Mart.
