• 10th Anniversary Edition finally does justice to underrated classic
  I always liked this movie, but it seemed over-edited, like there was too much missing. It turns out there was, and with this 10th Anniversary DVD release, Disney finally fixed those problems with storyline and emotional impact, notably with the inclusion of the duet "If I Never Knew You." I hadn't seen this movie since the VHS release, which didn't look good: the bright colors bled into each other on tape. Apparently, the earlier DVD release wasn't that great, either. • Pocahontas Review
  My daughter is only four but she liked this. We did have to explain to her about the violent parts, but once she heard that, she was okay with the entire movie.

• Good item with a compelling story.
  It offers an interesting look at the life of Native Americans before America was conquered. I liked the approach that Disney too in delivering the story since it attracts the young crowd.
