  While critics will debate forever the impact of Journey on the world of music, for us fans, there IS no debate...the band rocks and we love 'em and their music--for the most part--will be timeless. I've been in radio for the better part of 20 years now, and I cannot remember a time when I did not receive regular requests for Journey, both then and now. Why?   I listened to Journey when I was younger and I admit like other music from my youth I still enjoy them. Perhaps they were a bit poppy and perhaps people consider them too '80s' like some here, but they wrote great catchy songs.
