• Squeaks!!
  While my son loves this soother, when you switch it to the movement selection it makes a terrible crickety squealing squeak that continues as long as it's going. It only did it a little at first and I just didn't switch it to that, but now he moves the switches himself and wakes himself up with the noise. Called FP and they said they'd replace it, that it was an earlier one (2007) and the new one shouldn't do it.

  My son loves the songs and the lights show. When I turn it on for him, he will stare at it until he sleeps.

• Perfect in every way except...
  I ordered two of these while I was pregnant with twin boys. It came with batteries that actually worked for several months. My sons LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this soother!
  Imagine my dismay when I finally had to change the batteries to find that one of them had movement and light, but no sound! I called the help desk who said they couldn't help me, I had to call the Germany help desk where no one spoke English. They told me I had to mail in the soother for them to repair it. I plan to do that this week... more info

• Lights very bright, moving parts squeak
  We have many of the Rainforest products, and this is the only one I've been unhappy with. After the first battery change, the swinging animals started squeaking every time we turned it on. The waterfall lights are way too bright -- it's fine for naptime/daytime use, but we don't turn it on at night b/c my daughter flinches away from the brightness and it just wakes her up instead of soothing her back to sleep.
