• Save your money and buy something else.
  Purchased this product with the sincere hope of transfering VHS tapes and casette tapes to digital format. The product doesn't work on any of the computers I have tried (upwards of 7 systems). The customer support is rude and frankly not helpful. Their stock answer is that the system does not meet the operating requirements of the software, yet they have no useful tips on how to actually find the penultimate system evidently required for accurate operation of their program. • Piece of junk!
  I purchased this piece of junk thinking it would be the solution to transferring my VHS tapes to disc. Was I ever taken in! Tech support was helpful and responsive. My computer met all the requirements for the VivBox, but after numerous attempts to secure a decent transfer it did not work well. Audio and sound were out of sync. • Easy to use, but slow
  Produces very good quality DVD's and it is very easy to use. My only complaint is that it takes up to 3 hiours to transfer a 2 hour VHS tape. I just set it and forget it but my kids complain that I'm hogging the computer. I've been trying to transfer 4 or 5 per weekend. We have 20 years worth of tapes to get through and with five kids, thats a lot of tapes. It also offers limited editing features. I'd recommend this product for anyone wanting to preserve their personal memories sitting on VHS.

• Pretty cool
  I have never used a transfer software before, but this was pretty simple to use. I have already transfered 2 movies to DVD and it is just like owning the real thing. I also like the audio transfer feture. I would recomend this product
