  You get what you pay for on these, they were very thin, and not as soft as I expected, but I will use them for my guest room.

• Believe all the bad reviews.
  Okay, these sheets really do stink. Mine came snagged like pantyhose. Plus they are not at all what microfiber means to me. They are more like a bad fake silk sheet. Do yourself a favor and pass.

  I rinsed the sheets before putting them on my bed. Big huge faded spots are all over the sheets!

  I can't complain too much because I only paid $6 for these on sale. I wouldn't pay a penny more though. They are very soft and comfortable when you first put them on your bed. However, after washing them again, they pill. They pill and become itchy more and more with each wash. I can't even use the pillow case anymore. Then they rip. So I use them under another sheet, which is also by Pike, and also ripped. Together, the two sheets actually manage to cover my bed.
