  • It helps
The attatchment does help. I bought the Stowaway (cannister style) from Dyson last spring and it is HORRIBLE. The only good thing about it is the awesome suction. Otherwise it is difficult and cumbersome! Not user friendly at all!!! This attatchment does make it a little bit better.

  • it works!
just got around to using it yesterday. it really helped with cleaning the ceiling fans. works with any dyson model with the 2 included adapters. i have the dyson slim. it's not a smooth swivel. it has a few "notches" for pre-set angles so it doesn't change angle while moving.

  • Very awkward, doesn't clean well at all, way too expensive
This is one of the most awkward attachments you'll ever see. All Dyson attachments seem to be to specialized and this one isn't an exception. Don't be fooled but the flexible looks - you'll only be able to use it on a ceiling fan or something at a similar angle.
Regarding its cleaning capabilities, they're quite bad. It's hard to get good suction and find the right angle. Additionally, it's way too expensive for what this is (well, all Dyson attachments are). $35 for THAT?
I'm very much in love... more info

  • I wrote to Dyson and suggested this
I wrote to Dyson and suggested a ceiling fan brush.
    Voila here it is.
If you use a pole in your left hand with the vacuum...then you can stop the blades from turning as you clean.
Glad Dyson made this attachment..just wish they would have let me know..
