• I call it a Zazen chair
  Being I am well, large, I am unable to sit in zazen in the standard
  seiza method. Blood flow stops to my feet and after several hours of sitting (with kinhin in between) my legs and feet are dangerously numb. I eventually had to give up on sitting this way. A nun recommended me to this form of seat. Now I can sit in meditation for several hours with no issue! My posture is perfect and allows for open breathing which is important in meditation. • Good quality & concept & great price!
  The design works great if you plan to sit for no more than an hour. After that my knees start hurting. The chair is of good quality construction and looks good. I have 2 chairs and alternate to alleviate back pain and it seems to be working.
