• Great purchase
  This is being used in my basement for the kids. It's a great purchase for the price. It's fairly sturdy and functional. The odor was not as bad as others have said it would be.

• Great but DEFINATELY smelly
  I read several reviews before purchasing this ottoman and decided that the "smell" people were talking about couldn't be that bad. So I bought it. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition but definately had a horrible smell. I left the ottoman in my garage open for a week hoping the smell would disappear but it didn't. I have now resorted to a plug in air freshner near the ottoman to mask the smell but there are still times when the smell even over powers that. I would purchase this item again but not... more info

• One of the best deals on furnishings ever. Extremley satisfying.
  Anybody that says this was a bad deal is probobly a completley unrealistic expectations. I live in a smallish studio downtown and keep it appointed quite nicely. It is furnished with a combo of vintage eames era pieces and some modern ones. Having items that serve as more than one thing is key. This serves three-four purposes. A coffee table, a footrest, extra temporary seating for extra guests or games and a place to eat.

  We bought this ottoman in brown for $85 on a special Friday sale. For the price, they are incredibly high quality. They shipped quickly, as Amazon always does.
  In response to the smell that some are noting in their ads, right out of the box, I didn't notice a scent at all, but based on the reviews, I took it out of the plastic that it came in right away, and took the little ottomans out of the big one and kept the lids off and sat it all out for a day.
