• Problem with Mount has been fixed...
  The mount that some people have had trouble with was fixed with a slight design modification quite a while ago. While most dealers' stock has been replaced, there are some that are still trickling through. If the mount broke for you, call customer support at 800-906-6447 x1 and they will send you the new one. • does the job but flimsy
  I got this for my Nikon D80 for indoor snapshots of my kids. I watched a youtube tutorial on how to properly install it, and once I recieved it I thought it would be a piece of cake. It broke in two on my first attempt. I am still able to use it (for how long, I dont know) and it does do a fantastic job at diffusing the light. My photos look natural, clear and bright.

• YEAH IT BROKE!!!!
  The first time I put it on my D200, the mounting base broke in two!!!! I knew from previous reviews this could happened so I was very careful. Didn't matter... I applied very little pressure but it just snapped. It still works ( but you have to carefully align the 2 pieces) and does what it says it will do for the flash, but there is a definite design flaw... For the money I expected something a little better!!!! If it didn't break I'd give it 4 stars....

• overrated
  It broke on me the first try. So I got inspired and used a maxi-pad and it works the same at a fraction of the price, and is a much better conversation-starter at parties.
