wish I'd bought it sooner
One of my babies loves the soothie pacifiers but when he was little it used to fall out of his mouth just as he was falling asleep and that would wake him up. If I tried to gently hold it in then when he turned his head it would bump my hand and get knocked out. This wubbanub solved that problem - I would hold on to the penguin body and he could turn his head quite far and as long as he still wanted the soothie in his mouth it stayed there. Wish I'd bought it sooner.

Wonderful
We received one as a gift for our first child. Now with our second, we bought two of them. I can't think of a better recommendation then that. The design of the animal help keep the pacifier in the mouth of a young infant- which is wonderful for the infant that keeps loosing his or her pacifier as they are learning suck and grasp.
I have no complaints with this item and would purchase them again and again.

Expected More
While the Wubanub is absolutely adorable, it doesn't really help my little one to keep her pacifier in her mouth. I was expecting more of a bean bag animal, but its actually very light, so it just moves all around with the pacifier, if it had been heavier and maybe a little bigger it could have laid beside her in the crib or on her chest and not moved. The baby does love to hold it though.

not the penguin...
I love the wubbanubs in general, and we have a red dog wubbanub that works great. The red dog has "beanies" in it's feet so it spreads accross my daughters torso a little better, the penguin doesn't have those beanies so it isn't weighed down, it's little tail sticks up so if my daughter drops the pacifier the penguin just rolls off of her stomach. The wubbanubs are great, but stick to the ones that have beanies in their feet ( the dog, frog, and I think the duck)
