  The adjustable stove guard does its prescribed job of blocking little hands from reaching hot pots on the stove. However there are a few negatives. Be absolutely sure where you want to place it on/near stove surface prior to using the two-sided adhesive tape because it is initially very sticky and may damage the surface if replaced (I have a stone top on which the Guard had to be placed).
