  I just purchased this on "Black Friday" at another retailer for $199.00, and I am not disappointed! I purchased this system for a new house that we moved into without pre-wiring for surround and in a room that was not really a great set-up for multiple surround speakers. • Nice alternative
  I purchased this unit to accompany a LCD flat screen that I had installed in my bedroom, after being disappointed with the sound of the television. It was easy to mount under the TV, although there was no cutout in the back of the speaker to route cables going to television. The solution to this was to mount the speaker on a 3/4 inch piece of wood (painted black)to allow the cables to route behind. This also let me hit wall studs to ensure it did not come down.

• Not bad.
  I was pretty impressed by this thing. It actually produces a pretty decent surround sound effect, with plenty of bass. It can't replace a real surround sound setup, but its way, way better than TV speakers.
  A couple things:
  1. The volume doesn't get very high, so if your looking for a living room setup, than don't bother with this. However, it is IDEAL for a small bedroom.
