Version 2 - Nonsensical Program Design
Wow - is the new version of Rosetta Stone horrible. The logic that is used to go from lesson to lesson is utterly nonsensical and mind boggling. No prompts telling you to speak, listen, type - its tough enough to learn a language - never mind trying to figure out what the program wants you to do. If you are an older person who is not computer savvy - you're plain out of luck. Obviously there was ZERO/ZED user testing done on this sad excuse for a software program. Overpriced piece of junk!
If you considering buying this, then my warning- don't! You will lose a lot of money for nothing. You can buy a good dictionary, paper grammar and spend some time with spanish speaking people. I think that is the strongest point about RS, it doesn't bore you. And if you... more info

Love it.
I had tried it out at a friends house and liked the way it worked out. Have been using it for a while. Is nice. I have learned some. Still have a long way to go but it is teaching me. Companion cd is nice to hear the words later too. USB microphone works good.
