It's ok 
I wasn't aware that a 2.5 mm plug was a charger size not a normal headphone plug size. I was hoping to use headphones I already have to listen to music from the phones mp3 player. They're apparently not 2.5mm. Now I have to either buy the headphones that work with this phone, (which suck!) which would eliminate the need for this adapter, or buy another pair of headphones with the correct jack size to use with the adapter. That should have been made more clear.

Ghost Calling...RazrV3xx....DON'T BUY 
I bought this product thinking that I could just plug-in one of my old hands-free devices from one of my retired phones so that I could ditch my bluetooth, which is now required in CA on the road. The connection worked well...until...when I left the phone unattended, with the headset connected, the phone would mysteriously jump to my 'Last Calls' and if still unattended, it would CALL my last dialed number. Its a monophone output, not a sterio. 
I wanted to use this with my car sterio, but it doesn't work. Only one side of the car speakers work. Thats when I figured they were not sterio connection. I had purchased two 3.5mm to 2.5mm connectors to connect it to my car sterio which now just lie around at home.

love it or hate it... 
i purchased this product based off of what i needed. i read all the reviews, i got the feeling this is a love it or hate it product. i do have a favorite hands-free set that i used to use with my LG phone (before all the bluetooths) and now i wanted to recycle the hands-free set with my motorola phone as a backup. the price of this product was low enough for me to want to try it out. it's been a month now that i have this adapter and i do use it when i can't locate my bluetooth or when... more info
