Apple just rarely ever disappoints, that's all there is to it!! Ipods just keep getting better, and the 6th generation 80GB is certainly no exception. Really your only question to yourself is how many songs/pics/vids you want to have at hand, and what price-range you're looking at.

Having received my 8GB I Pod Touch a few days ago, I am really glad that I decided to get one. The battery life seems to hold up pretty good from what i have previewed from it so far, and you can always turn off the wifi in the settings option to conserve more if needed.
