This pot has a good weight (not too heavy), small enough base to fit on a standard burner and still get a pan on the burner in front, if needed. Customer Review: looks like a great pot, but i'll never get to try it. says on the box that it cannot be used on a glasstop / ceramic stove. Amazon fails to mention that in the description, so here i am returning a huge pot!
