Contrary to my other Kitchen Aid accessories, this item is not chrome but plastic tinted grey to LOOK like chrome. My original idea was that it would look nice with my brushed aluminum appliances but of course in comparison it just looks like the cheap plastic piece of garbage it is.

So far, so good. I purchesd two of the racks and was able to accommodate all of my seasonings from two very disorganized cabinets. My only reservation (reason for 4 stars) is that each of the shelves are held in place by 2 plastic tabs. I don't know how well or if they will stand the test of time.... more info

The jars shipped quickly, and fully intact, and they look great up on my wall. There was a nice selection of large- and small-holed caps (and the bottles were compatible with some of the caps and even some of the grinder-top lids from my original spice bottles).
